Overall Reflection
One of the most significant lessons from my residency is that cultural engagement begins with listening. Every patient enters the hospital carrying a unique story shaped by culture, faith, family, history, trauma, and life experiences. Effective spiritual care requires recognizing and honoring these influences rather than making assumptions.

Through encounters with individuals from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, I learned the importance of remaining grounded in my own identity while approaching others with humility and curiosity. These experiences strengthened my commitment to providing care that respects the dignity and uniqueness of every person.
